Before & After
The transformations here are dramatic, but they come from a humble alchemy born of creativity and resourcefulness. Budget doesn't always allow for new tile, but that does not mean you're stuck with what currently exists.
01
Dated to Updated Basement
This finished basement came with some unwelcome skeletons in the closet--asbestos tiles and 1960's style paneling that was in bad shape. Warm white paint and new carpet (after removal of the tile) brought warmth while keeping the open feel, and louvered shutters gave complete light control for this movie watching hangout.
02
Bright Subway Tile Kitchen
This kitchen was dark and its appliances and fixtures were undersized and lacked functionality. A new subway tile backsplash and new appliances updated the functionality of the space.
03
Mountain West Living Room
A convex mirror created a focal point for this awkward fireplace while paint brightened the space. We also used rustic western style textiles to establish sense of place.
04
Historic House Attic Conversion
This cute attic was converted into a generous walk-in closet and lined with William Morris wallpaper which looks gorgeous next to the rainbow of clothes.
